BLOG SEVEN

     I have had twitter for personal reasons for a few years now but making a twitter for educational purposes showed me Twitter in a new light. Rather than using Twitter for laughs, I could use it to find resources and to connect with other teachers. I like seeing what my classmates respond to the EME2040 account's questions. Twitter can connect me with people from all around the world and give me different teaching insights.
     Making my website was very fun for me. I love getting into the decorative aspect of it and making it look as pretty as possible. I know feel completely capable of building a website, which I previously thought was a difficult task. This assignment gave me insight on what a teacher's website should be like and what my expectations will be when I am a teacher.

     Adaptive and assistive technology can range from text-to-speech software or a joystick instead of a mouse. They are technologies to aid those with disabilities to perform tasks with ease and independence. In the classroom these technologies allow these students to be able to access and learn material or communicate when they otherwise may not be able to. I have never used or seen any of these technologies but plan to learn more in case I need to apply them in my future classroom and avoid any problems such as not knowing how to properly use these technologies.
